I had an 80hp. Merc with a jet on a 16' Sea Dory a few years ago, and when I sold it I kept the stainless impeller that I bought when installing the pump.
Now I have a 17' foot Supervee with a 115hp Evinrude ( 80jet) that I would like to fit with a stainless impeller ( quicker out of the hole ?). The impeller from the Merc is a 7 3/8C , but I'm told that I need a 7 3/8D. Anyone know what the difference is ( can I use the "C")?, or does anyone have a 7 3/8D that they would like to sell or trade ?
