It's quite simple really. Go to Costco and pick up their Tri Tip Roasts. Tenderize real well, Put your favorite seasoning on fairly libral and then let the Tri tip cook at about 220 until done. I like it red in the middle and slice it real thin. Mine took 2 hours yesterday. I have tried it all different ways but yesterday was awesome. TIP: remember to cut your meat against the grain.

Add you favorite barbeque sauce, some sauteed onions, and a bun.
Tri-tip can be kind of a tough cut, but done this way low and slow it's great.

My wife came up with an interesting twist for tritip's, marinade for 1/2 a day in ziplock bag with 1 can of dr pepper. The carbonation and sugars with the caramel flavor really does wonders. Plus she can save here wine to enjoy with the meal!
