So whats the drill for using your VHF down around bouy 10. It sounds like everyone monitors Ch 16 and then when they find someone to talk to they go to another channel so they don't overload 16. Is this pretty much what all of you are doing down there.

VHF channel 16 is an internation and USA hailing channel. Use it to contact the CG or another vessel and then go to another channel to "carry on" your conversation. images/icons/smile.gif
