Sheesh--get to Hammond a little after 6:30 and I swear, the line at the ramp had to be 2-3 miles long. Just how long did it take to get through that thing?? It was almost all the way to Kampers West when I went by (time is valuable, gas is cheap in comparison). So I went to a not so secret, yet still much quicker (If a longer run) launch. How far away did everybody have to park?? Makes me shudder to imagine the WEEKEND!!!! Good luck folks!!!!!

What line were you in? I was there at 6:00 AM and had about a 15 minute wait. I think I'll launch at Tongue Pt. Try Warrenton. Or the west end basin launch. Patience!!!

We were at Hammond today also , really long line about 7:00 am. But you know when you meet guys inline and start to bs it really went fast, just make a good thing aout of a bad thing...
Today was one of the worst days out at 10 we have had this year, I really do know know why.
What makes it worse I have company from out of state trying to get them a little fishey... bummer.

I got to meet northrivers in line. He was the next boat up.
Originally I estimated the line to be 80 boats but I think it was more like 40. We got in line at 6:30 and we launched around 8:30. We caught 8 outside for 4 on Thur. and only 1 on Fri. inside for 3. It would have been 3 except for no barbs on 1 and a netting mishap on another images/icons/smile.gif.

BUGLEMAN,
Nice to meet you. I guess those white ifish stickers really show up. Congrats on your fishing success. We got four coho out in the ocean between buoy #4 and #2 on thursday. All in about two hours. Friday we got four coho at the Buoy 10 line and saturday we got 6 coho. We lost a big chinook when a "Bozo" drove over our line and propped him off. images/icons/mad.gif Otherwise lots of fun. images/icons/grin.gif
