Could any of you tell me how the( CHARTER- don`t have a boat YET )salmon and or bottomfishing is at these area`s??Going to seaport for the family thing this weekend then going down the coast for the dad thing(and than some) I would fish out of astoria but than I`d be dragging fish all over and need fresh to bring home( The Dalles ).

My wife and I limited + out of newport sun. I was very surprised at the size of rockfish we landed. Some very nice salmon were on the docks at South Beach Marina as Well. (one was #41) Cohos every stop, Whales almost always in sight. It's closed to cohos here but it's neat to watch them storm your bottomfish gear when you reel in. Not sure of the salmon trip price, But a 6hr. crab/bottomfish trip was $65 per person out of South Beach Marina. (541)-867-4470 images/icons/smile.gif
