Hows the fishing been out of Troutdale lately? Haven't been able to get out there yet but heard that the steelhead bite kinda slowed down. Have they been biting up by the Sandy or more down by the tip of Govt.Island?I'll be able to get out later this week just need to know which way to turn.Any Chinook yet?

That 72 degree water can't be helping the situation much. Fished down at Frenchmen's Bar Sunday and didn't see a fish landed. images/icons/mad.gif

Something must have happened near the 205 bridge earlier to spark some interest. 10 - 12 boats anchored up just east of the bridge around 6 PM. First time that I have seen boats gathering this year. Only 2 or 3 remaining after 8 PM on my way north bound.

I'm sure it had something to do with the 40# salmonoid caught down there on an F7 .....

Funny how every fish I've heard of being caught this year above buoy 10 has been 40 lbs.....

My scale has turned a lot of 40 pounders into 25 pounders. images/icons/wink.gif
