Do any of you fish below the bridge on an outgoing tide for silvers? I heard the bite is normally nonexistant on an outgoing but we caught a few Thursday when the water was going out. I hear buoy 10 is not the place to be on an outgoing but the water was pretty calm and the current wasn't ripping that hard when we were there. We only fished it for about 45 minutes and trolled back to Ilwaco. I also noticed some spots on the Washington side about 1 mile or two away from buoy 10 that looked somewhat protected that might kick out a few fish. Anyway, I just thought I would throw the question out there. I would hate to drive 2 hours and some change and not be in the prime fishing tide. Thanks in advance.......

I caught a nice coho a few years back on the outgoing tide - look for fishing looking rips and just mooch a herring while drifting or give it some gas and troll. We had two that day before the tide turned (and missed another) and then went fishless on the incoming at Buoy 10. This was later in the season - September.
