i'll be spending my weekend in Aberdeen, how is it over there ?
Thanks
Been very good quake!
I've been fishing them about once a week to take a break from the ocean salmon fishing up here. But, each time I go I've been getting up to 15 depending on how many I want for a meal.
Fish the Grayland beaches which are about 5 miles south of westport. If you travel south from westport down the highway, turn right at the beach entrance by the "local tavern". Once there, start fishin! I usually go south down the beach a ways. Use fresh sandshrimp.
Good luck and let me know how you do.

Eric, thank you very much for you info, it'll be very helpful for my fishing trip to aberdeen this weekend i'm sure.
i have another question for you, since this will be my first time in Aberdee, where do you usually dig for sandshrimps ?
Thank you much
Quake,
I dig them right there on the ocean beach. I use a homemade shrimp gun and keep them in a cooler with an icepack. Look for the tiny pinholes way up the beach. Don't dig the bigger holes down by the surf as those are razor clams and are off-limits.
Good luck.
