We had an excellent day! Oakie Drifter outfished me today....lol She used her magic wand and got 3 fish. One native and two keepers. images/icons/shocked.gif Poor me, all I got was one, but it was the biggest! It was nice out there too; we made new friends on the hogline. Im proud of what Oakie Drifter and I did today. We were in a long hogline and we set the anchor out in the river and pulled out without any trouble. images/icons/grin.gif Thanks to Mrdorkfish and Ryanfish, who taught us how to do it last year. Also want to thank some of the other Ifishers, who post advice about how to do it, the right and safe way. Once again, Oakie Drifter got one of her steelhead noses cut off by the fish checker. The same checker that defaced her other steelhead last week. Dagnabit Jennie, you gotta go with us!!!

Just one sour note today. A vessel about 40 ft in length, by passed the prep lanes and went right to the top of the ramp I was ready to take out of. He then and there began to prepare his boat-- taking off the wide load signs, tie-downs and other things.
Why didnt he do this in the prep lane, before going top of the ramp and blocking up the ramp and the other lanes..... I guess he thinks he owns the Chinook Landing ramps and everyone has to wait for him.......(doughboy) images/icons/mad.gif .....Bev went around him...lol images/icons/wink.gif

Good post, nice fish except for the missing
nose. I saw a boat last weekend where it appeared that the occupants were "tracking"
fish. They had an antenna thingy on a mast cruising arround. Keep posting your success stories....
