Can someone give me the coords or offical name/# for the famous Bouy 10?
I would also like to find the Chart # or Name(s) of Nav chart(s) of the mouth of the Columbia as well as the "Willapa bay". Were is a place I can buy one/them around the Ilwaco area?
Also, is there a NOAA(or other site) that give RealTime wave/swell heights , winds and forcasts for the same area? I had a link for hte East Coast, but can not find it now.
Not many of these laying around in Arizona. Any help would be welocme.

Missed the Lat/Lon part...I'll pull up the positioning data for you also...If you can plot down to .*** (thousands!) YOU ARE GOOD!!! images/icons/smile.gif Just as a "Did you know?" EVERY buoy and light is positioned to determine accuracy. 4 years ago, the CG swiched from sextants to a DGPS/Computer system. We now position these Aids within 3 meters. I do this stuff almost daily....and the interface would BLOW your mind!!!! Forget the X-15!!!! images/icons/smile.gif Now, if I had my own boat....and 15 grand for this setup.... (And it travels in a suitcase sized Pelican case!!!)

Thanks Torchman. I trying to get an idea what/where you are all talking about. I have never been to the area before. This is my first trip to SE WA.
I got "an invite" from a kind soul on this forum for a possible day of fishing when I come up for a vacation in a few weeks.
I am the type of fisherman that researches everything I can get my hands on, including Nav charts/waypoints before I go.
Then all this comes back home with me and goes into the "Fishing/Guide/Places" file cabinet for future reference.
I will admit that its "kind of anal" to go to this much trouble for 1 day of fishing, but I have a GREAT file compiled from the last 10 years.
Thanks Again.

Fishnmap makes a decent map of the lower Columbia. -https://secure.dimensional.com/fishnmap/catalogframe.html
Online map stuff - http://www.4seatow.com/charts.asp
bouy & water conditions - http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/marine/zone/west/pqrmz.htm http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/Maps/Northwest.shtml

There are a couple of other map/chart sites that I can't find at this time. Must be on the computer at work.
