i live in hillsboro and was wondering is there any place within a 20-30 minute drive where i can catch some crappie? thanks.

Vernonia Lake (pond?) has crappie. Not too much further...maybe 40 minutes away. Well, to be honest, I've only heard they have crappie since I haven't managed to take any out of there...

I have caught maybe 5 crappie out of vernonia in the past 5 years. I caught them off of a bobber and fly. They are all tiny.

They are in Vernonia and Hagg.
