My daughter asked me the weekend we were at Ifishstock if I'd make "fish dip"
I looked at her like she was crazy - what the heck is "fish dip?"
I'd forgotten all about the dip (or actually it's a spread) I used to make with either smoked salmon or TUNA! When she reminded me of the ingredients, I got a hankerin for it and made some up... and now it has a name - "Kate's Fish Dip"
1 bunch green onions
1/2 lb smoked TUNA or Salmon (just plain salted and alder-smoked, no sugar or special brine)
1 large tub cream cheese, softened
Finely chop the onions (more or less to taste)
dice the TUNA or salmon
blend it all together with the cream cheese
Chill at least 2 hours
serve with crackers or chips
It's that simple. and YUM!:food:
