Don't think so. Applegate is one of the bigger lakes in the area though...Rainbows and bass probably.

To quote the book "Fishing In Oregon"....
Galesville Res. An attractive 640 acre impoundment in a timbered valley on Cow Creek, Trib to the South Umpqua. It features trophy-size largemouth bass, other warm water species, abundant trout, and a unique fishery for landlocked coho. To reach it, take the Azalea exit #88 of I-5 onto county Rd. 36.
F-I-O makes no mention of kokanee there but what do I know....
Sounds like a place worth checkin out,
John

Four Mile Lake has 'em, as does Lake of the Woods.
Four Mile is a postcard pretty high mountain lake with good road access, camping, easy launch, and beautiful cold, clear water. Lake of the Woods is larger but has every PWC and ski boat in Medford to boot. Both are 25-30 miles up Rt. 140 headed toward Klamath Falls.
Good Luck!

Lake of the Woods. The kokanee are what fuels the trophy brown fishery. They should be OK to eat until the end of September.
