Check the stocking schedule.

Trillium Lake, Clear Lake and Timothy lake are also lakes that can be fished from the shore. I haven't been up to Lost Lake for a long time but that is normally a nice quite lake that can be fished from the shore as well.

Stopped by Frog Lake two weeks ago on the way back from clear and it was really low and shallow. Clear Lake water was getting low and the fishing was pretty poor.

hey Trillium lake is going to be a zoo we were up there last year and it is people everyone swimming at 10 and just a zoo overall your best bet would be Frog alot of times NorthFork on the clackamas. Um Frog would be your best bet.

If you don't mind a ton of swimmers in the water and alot of people I guess it won't be to bad it just takes a while to get use to it is peace full up there until this weekend this weekend is Crazy but practically everyone

My girlfriend and I stopped by Trillium Lake for an hour or so a couple weeks ago (early June) and she caught 2 fish on green/yellow powerbait, while I didn't get any luck trying worms. The sun came out and there were salamanders everywhere - I even got one on my line when I reeled in to recast.. the little guy had swallowed about 3/4" of the end of my worm down his throat (below the hook) and was so stubborn about it that I had him dangling in the air for a while and even had to pull him off the worm to get him back in the water. After that the worm was pretty much dead so I gave it back to the salamander since he tried so hard, and then another one came up and they fought over it for a while. Yeah this is a random tangent... Back to fishing, I think its worth a try and its close to HW26 and there's other lakes down the road as well.
