Just in case the buoy 10 is so hot limits are made quickly, does anyone have any gps coordinates for a good bottom fishing spot outside the columbia bar?

Thanks for any help, also I just made my first bar crossing at tillamook (ye ha), unfortuneately it was after the coho closed which figures. Anyway, I had a coho on and it chucked the hookes back at me and my buddy fishinfool got one to the boat, this we thought could have been a chinook till we checked the mouth and it was a rather large 12-15lb coho, so if that is any indication the coho season is going to be awesome.

The boat that came in after us had an interesting story. They had a coho on the way to the boat and a shark decided to intercept and take a bite. Defineately would not recommend swimming out there <g>.

Good luck and get those vacuum sealer bags.

I would suggest the outside of the south jetty. not the submerged jetty (tackle gobbler-not as many fish) nice water cast up into them big 'ol rocks! be aware of the submerged jetty, there is a marker at the end of it. images/icons/rolleyes.gif make sure your gps has intel chips in it!
