Congrats! Nothing beats catching a steelhead, particularily your first. Just be warned, steelheading is very addictive. Tough to say who gets hooked; you or the fish! images/icons/wink.gif

Dustin, so the fish was wild and had to be released? Too bad you didn't get to keep it. Remember that the when you do catch your first hatchery fish, you have to take a big bite off the raw, slimy fish. images/icons/shocked.gif Hey, it's only a steelheading tradition. images/icons/grin.gif I had to do it a few years ago too when I caught my first steelhead on the North Fork Lewis. images/icons/tongue.gif
