With recent talk about huge fish here on Ifish, I got to wondering what were the biggest fish people have caught? Many of my buddies and I really get into it over the size of our largest fish. I know for me a lot of it has just been right place, right time and a little luck. Anyways, here they go. Not all are huge and weather or not you can beat me, please post. Feel free to add species as you'd like. I think this may be an interesting topic. Oh, pictures would be nice if you have something exceptional. You know, when get around to it. images/icons/wink.gif

I still can't find any members to the 30/75 Club. I'm close on the steelhead, but no where near 75 on the Kings.
27 pound steelhead on the Quinault in 1996.
http://staff.washington.edu/parker/pics/fish32.jpg
35-40 pound Kings, caught on various rivers. I am having a hard time breaking the 40 mark. I foul hooked an estimated 54 pound brute on the Columbia, but let it go unharmed. Here's a typical Kasilof River 30ish pound King.

Chinook 30lbs. Till. Bubble - Sept. 1995 Chromers!
I have stated before that I am still fishing/searching for the 20/50 club... however.. my real goal is to catch a chinook in every month of the year.. Jan-Dec. any takers? I almost had it this year, but low water conditions and a Masters program through PSU forced me to stay home more than I owuld have liked..
he are my feble attempts:]
Chinook
42# pounds Sixes river
winter steelie
19# Sol Duc

Striper
#24 pounds Coos River
Large mouth bass
7# Tenmile Lake (my 3 year old daughter hooked and landed a 4# pounder last Thursday evening off of our dock! w/ my favorite crankbait)
I have also pull a hat trick... 1 chinook, 1 coho, 1 winter steelie in the same day.. does that count for anything?
Hey willierower, you need to let me know the next time you are in my neck of the woods.
Thanks for letting me play
