Besson campground used to be pretty nice. I have not been there for at least 10 years. I remember it was small and had a nice ramp. I am not sure if you are taking a boat or not. It is on the base of a peninsula which is about 100 yard accross. It took from 30-60 minutes to raft around it.

Boat or no boat? That makes a big difference in that section.

Just walk up river from the Sunriver boat ramp, or fish the river right in town.

i have seen some incredible hatches and had some awsome fishing in the lapine state rec area. there are some monster browns in there. if there isnt any surface activity i usually just swing and strip beadhead wolly buggers.
