Well, Sept is just around the corner. The water temp is already dropping. Wake boarders and pleasure boats will soon be staying home.
This is the time of year when I truely LOVE bass fishing.
The river smallies are feeding hard....aggressive, fiesty and fat.
Man I'm getting excited! ARE YOU?

Went yesterday in the Salem area. It was decent fishing and they are really starting to hit the lippless well.
How is the snake in Sept? I think I will be heading that way about the middle of Sept

yeah !!!!! im going to be fishing more and more and more ..... anyone want to meet me on the upper CR this sunday ? did i mention Clear Lake in the end of sept. and first of Oct.

I can't wait either I am thinking that I will be down on the Snake come the end of Sept first week of Oct. My deer hunt begins on the Sept 29 and I think I can bag one real quick so I am hopeing to be down on the river the first week of Oct. Get the big fish.

I caught 20 fish today with my lipless crank it was excellent fishing on the lower willy. No real big ones yet mostly fish around 1 to 2lbs but we did get one nice 3lber in, he was deep though, caught on a drop-shot rig that sat in her face for about 5 minutes. Not in fall mode yet

I have a salmon trip on Monday then I will start gearing up for the fall bass. Not sure how much I will be able to get out this year but I have been waiting for the fall smallies for a couple of months now.
