I am headed to Odell Thursday night for the Weekend and was looking for any reports on Kokes or Macks at both Odell and Cresent
My brother is up at Odell already and said there are hardly any boats out. He fished a while and only hooked one Koke. (he is not a hardcore so I'm not sure what he is doing);)

Sorry dude, things are about done up there right now. Kokes are in prespawn and soon won't be worth eating. Macks have been gorging on them and won't be hungry till after the spawn.
I probably won't go up there till early November.
By the way, this pic was from last Nov. at Crescent. We were the only boat out there that day.

Oh well, I guess I'll make the most of it. There is no such thing as a bad day fishing :). Any idea which lake would be better? Cresent or Odell?
Thanks for the response BTW, and Beautiful fish!!! I hope to spend some time Mack fishing eventually. I'm still a Mack "virgin"
Fished Crescent from 6:30 to 9:30. Caught 3 fish for 3 people. Went to Odell and fished for another 3 hours with not even a bite:frown:.

Well, my family vacation was fun, but my fishing story is terrible. :o
3 fish for 3 days of fishing. My brother got there before me and caught one thursday, and Friday we got two. Saturday I only fished a couple hours with not one bite.
I didn't talk to anyone else who caught more than one koke. One guy did land a 20" rainbow though!
Beautiful weather, but the fishing left me wanting more. Now where to next??
BTW, all 3 fish were about 9"
