Camped at Foster for a week with my Girlfriend and 2 daughters.
I managed to slip away real early on 2 mornings for a Kokanee session at Green Peter.

First morning I went solo for a couple of hours and caught 6 Koks. All fish caught on gold Dodgers and Pink UV squid tipped with corn.

Hot depth for me was 69 feet out in front of the island and floating restroom but right in the middle of the lake.

First delicious Kok brought to the net

Cleaning up the fish at Foster cleaning station. They are starting to get big eggs in prep for the spawn but all the meat was nice and firm still.

Next day I took Gwenn my Girlfriends Daughter and she caught her first Kokanee ever. She had a blast.

The weather on Thurs was a mixed bag it would go from sunshine to rain but stayed mostly cloudy. The fish were caught at 69 feet again on pink and chartruse uv squid.

We ended up with 9 Koks and 1 rainbow. We lost around 5 fish. Gwenn was getting really ticked when a really nice fish came off right at the boat and floated there for what seemed like an eternity and before I could get the boat turned he burped and headed back down to the depths.

More fish cleaning fun from the second days fishing.

The water has risen some from the previous weeks. The launch was easy.

What is the boat ramp looking like now? Can I still launch a 21' NR? Thinking of fishing GP mid week next week.

I think you would have no problem. I saw boats of that size launching. The water is about level to the first parking spot on the lower ramp. No rocks in way of ramp at this time. Hope this helps.

I will hopefully be going up green peter tomorrow, and was wondering how much leader you guys use between the flasher and your lure. I am thinking like 18 inches, but is that too short?

A hootchie behind a Vances small dodger I use 8 to 10 inches of leader so it gives it a nice dance. If I am using a wedding ring I will use about 18 inches.
