My dad and i are planning on going to harriet lake to catch trout. Is the fishing very good there or should we just go to the north fork reservoir. note: we don't have a boat.

Harriet Lake can be very good. I use Power Bait,Pautskies Eggs and night crawlers. You can fish right off the bank past the boat lanch. Also has a good campground there. The best fishing is on the opposite side of the lake, but I have done well on the roadside as well.

Harriet if you have float tubes or a boat go to the small feeder creeks across the lake this time of year the browns like to hang in the cooler current other wise go deep where they hang out on the bottom rp

I prefer Harriet because it is small and off the main road, but I have litttle to no experience with North Fork
