Has anyone tried to fish high up on the Molalla River lately?

I used to flyfish way up high on the Molalla river and catch some really nice fish sometimes! haven't tried it in a couple years and will be going up there soon to give it another try!

Anybody tried it lately? is it a waste of time?
seems like since they stopped planting it..It has affected the whole river!

I had a guy on here tell me once that there are come cuts on the upper river. I went once but didn't try too hard and didn't catch any fish. I'm relatively new to fly fishing, but if you want to hook up sometime and give the molalla a try, let me know. I also have access to a private area of the Molalla but have never fly fished it.

I am up for a trip to the Upper Mo. Count me in some evening. Im a novice on the fly rod. We are having an open house for the New Molalla River Chapter of ANWS Sept 6th 7PM in Canby at the Canby Community park. Lots of guys will tell you in person what they will not tell you anywhere else... Yes, the Mo has a good cutt population. Hopefully we will be BBQing some fresh fish.

Hey Kevin, i would love to fish with you sometime on the Molalla. I have seen your post and really would like to fish with you sometime, and swap some stories. I am mostly avail on the weekends, but evens too. Ill keep in touch and maybe a few of us can plan a time to go.
