Its been a while since I have posted, so here we go. I just returned from my Kenai/Alaska adventure. I made the drive up and back and it is definately something everyone should do once in their lifetime. Its 2750 miles one way, but I'm living proof that it can be done in a bit less than 2.5 days. The fishing on the Kenai was decent but not great. Some of the guides were saying that the overall king numbers were down and the number of fifty lb+ kings was definately down. I would agree with both statements but we didn't get skunked a single day.

I'm getting ready for Buoy Ten and still have a couple of openings I would like to fill. The fishing just outside the mouth of the Columbia has been "lights out" for coho with a few chinook mixed in. Anchovies are the bait of choice trolled with or without a flasher. The river is starting to show signs of life and will be in full swing within a week or so.
