Well,

It has been oveer 20 Years since I have dusted off the Rolls of Chenille, and fumbled through the hooks stored away in their boxes.

Least 20 Years since I needed any Calf tail, and maybe more than that since I needed silver tinsel.

I suppose that when the tide is right, and when the current is flowing in just the right way, there is a moment of spontanaeity, and of creation.

After 20 or so seasons, the tide was right, and in a moment of inspiriation, I was able to create a Green Butt Skunk.

I can not recall what size of hook I used, but, I suppose around where I go, its just enough (but not too much) to fool a steelhead.

Felt kind of good to sit down at the vice after all this time. Guess it is kind of like riding a bike.

Hard to unlearn a hand tied whip finish. Maybe 20 Years from now, I will tie another one :)

Nice job on the GBS! Not many more satisfying experiences than catching a fish on a fly that you have tied.
