I inititally posted "Dixon" after a quick peek post work day. I'm way off.
I vote that you camped at "Hole in the wall", campsite(not the rapid), right bank, below Rainbow flats.
If that ain't right, you camped at North Junction.
I hate threads like this. Folks posting pictures of an area I've practically lived in for many years and I can't seem to identify places I've been!
Could be a senior moment though........

The Deschutes. I Say Somewherte Around The Muttons Where the heck is "The Muttons"?
Dixon. No
Chosen Boy and Mad Mikey are in the vicinity, as the float was from Warm Springs to Maupin.

Where the heck is "The Muttons"?
Mutton mountains. The Deschutes disects them at Whitehorse rapids. Drive from Warm Springs to Maupin the "back" way and you will get to see them.

I will give it to Mad Mikey. It is not North Junction campground, but just beyond (barely) the railroad trestle below North Junction.

The Muttons ( whitehorse area) is a close second and pretty vague. Cool pics.

Just upriver from dixon. Illegal fishing. Wish it were legal.
Illegal, or just closed to fishing?

Warm Springs Reservation on one side, and a "private" club on the other bank.

The reservation stops right above Dixon(left bank), not sure of the GPS but if you are fishing from the top campsite down, you are safe.

Big new sign on the hill above the tracks, across from Two Springs Ranch, marking the northern boundary of the Res. It's much easier to see then the old power boat deadline sign and BLM post.
