I think it opens on August 1st this year. With so many fish they will soon be crossing the bar with the stonger incoming tides. By Aug, it's gonna get nuts with fish - and boats!

10 opens august 1st. 2 fish a day, 1 can be a nookie. August 16th, 3 fish a day, 1 can be a nookie.
Fish are already there by the thousands. I sat on the bar on Sunday-Wed this week and there was a lot of bait (Anchovies) with a non-stop screen of fish. It is increadible. The fishing in the ocean was spectacular. With three on board we picked through our fish carefully. We could have be done in 30 minutes. but we stayed for 2 hours. 3 nookies 3 8 to 9 pound silver. Most of the silvers we 4 to 7 lbs. Oh yeah, the nookies we caught....well 17, 21, and 23. What a day!!!
