Anybody been up to any of the Kamloops area lakes this summer. Heading up to Hihium in a couple weeks and just wondering how it has been up there this year.

Fished Hi-Hium for a week in July. There seemed to be less fish this year and also many small ones. We did get some larger fish, biggest was 25" and 5 were 20" or over. We fish mostly dry. In August you will have to go deeper. Saw more Sedges than we have in years. Lots of dying trees. The pine beetle is doing alot of damage. Good Luck
