Heard some guys talking about how much better (longer life via lubrication) the air cooled type two stoke oil is (ECHO power blend), as opposed to the water cooled stuff...
Any truth to it guys?

truth and fiction
one:both two stroke and four stroke oils are made in differant grades (full synthetic, semi-synthetic, and mineral based only) if some one is comparing let it be apples to apples
two: air cooled oils from my understanding are designed for higher tempatures of air cooled motors and water cooled oils are designed for lower more constant temps of the outboard
(my two cents now educate me)
