Hagg Lake or Vernonia Fly opportunities

Hey all,

I am thinking about taking a picnic out at Hagg or vernonia lakes tommorow and figured I would drag the flyrod along. I have had pretty good luck fishing small local ponds with damsel flys and occasionally terrestrials but was wondering if anybody has suggestions for these lakes. I wont have a tube or a boat with me so I am also looking for any tips on bank spots.

I will reward advisors handsomly with tales of the results over Hoppie Libations if anyone is so inclined!

Vernonia Lake is pan fish only this time of the year. Too warm to support trout.
