Dad and mom just got back this evening from almost a week at Diamond Lake. They camp on the west shore, Thielsen CG. He said it was fairly crowded over the weekend but everyone gone this AM. They had a great time, said the fish they found were all down at the south end about 200 yards off shore. He said North end seemed to be dead, no sign of fish. They tried trolling various lures and of course our "Diamond Lake Flies" but caught all of their fish on power bait down at the south end. He said there was a fly fisherman doing really well that had caught some pigs over 20". A guide boat also was hammering them at the south end. Dad said most of their fish were around 13", biggest 18". Mom out fished dad as usual so I know she had her usual good time. Diamond lake is coming back fast, everyone having a good time.
