Any news on Crescent for kokanee? Hoping to get my 71 year old dad out this week.

We camped at Crescent 7/19-7/23 and fished for kokanee a little each day without much success. Marked fish, but for me they seemed to have lockjaw.:shrug: Bite seemed to be early or late for the most part, for those managing do have any luck.
I finally found two willing to commit suicide before daylight the last morning we were there, just enough for a meal for the wife and I. :D
First time in nearly 40 years the mosquitoes left everyone alone.:clap:

Fished it last weekend and it was very slow...
The algae bloom on Odell forced us to Cresent.
Fished Merwin today and it was quite good all morning till the wind came up about noon.
