Duckworth problems!

:smash: Has anyone had any problems with the welds on with their
duckworth boats in the last 3-5 years? please pm me, a buddy of
mine just found cracks all along the bottom of his boat.:shrug: Any

Was the boat manyfactured bt Rennasaince (SP?) Marine? If so.... I got lot's of info for you and some numbers to call to get the problem corrected if the cracks are in the welds itself.

Don't count on help from them. They will try and get you to pay for the repairs. Had a weld fail along a three inch crack on my last boat. A Weldcraft 16ft Angler 2000. They said I hit something because there was a scratch in the hull about 11 inches away and that caused the weld to fail. Had a local guy who works for Safe Boats International (Coasties Boats) fix it for me. Said there was crystalazation in the weld and the weld edges looked horrible. He ground it out. Rewelded it and welded a patch on the back side for me.
