For the person who was asking about the lake drawdown reported in the Columbian- no worries- it's still full to the top!
Fishing is great as usual up there. Caught an 18 inch bulltrout near the mouth of the river along with several zinger 13-14inch trouts.
Trolled from the ramp all the way to the dam on the south shore- didn't find all that many- maybe 10 the whole way. I did find that there were NO fish to be caught at 20ft down, where I usually catch'em up there- even though there were lots of fish on the sonar in the 15-25 foot range? I was seeing an occassional fish or two at 40-50 feet, so I dropped down to 45 and instantly caught one. That depth worked great the rest of the day. At the dam was a lot better- trolled back and forth and caught maybe 15 in an hour and a half. Again 45 feet was magic.
Drove back to just west of the island near the south shore where I had caught a few as I passed through earlier- caught fish like clockwork. Ended up at about 40 for the day. Lost more fish than I ever have for some reason- at least another twenty or so.
Used this small spoon almost all day. Sometimes I wonder why I have a tackle box full of stuff- this one works 70-80% of the time. I don't use any flashers or other attractors at all with it. Just a little 'ole spoon by itself.

The other reason I like it is that it works well moving along at a pretty good clip- so I can cover a lot of water and not waste time in places where there are no fish. And at Swift as in most big lakes- there are vast areas that are less productive than others. It pays to search around.
Give it a try- FISH DEEP!
(I'll post a pic of the bull trout later tonight)
