has anyone heard or have confirmation regarding limits on eagle creek, clackamas? Talk was 3 a day and heard more talk of them increasing to 6 a day. Yet I called odfw and they don't even have infor on the three a day. What is going on? Any info appreciated.

C&E:
If you are going to be fishing Eagle Creek for Cohos. Have a blast!
But, do us all a favor and carry out a bag of trash with you. Let others know that you are an Ifish member. Eagle Creek is a great fishery, but attracts alot of garbage.
I cleaned up below the River Mill Dam a couple weeks ago and the other fishers were greatful.

I'm not sure about the limit - but I was curious to know if chrome color Cohos make it up Eagle Creek. I went late last season and a lot of them were spawned out and they were all very dark.

Yes you will snag fish there intentionally or not. The fish really stack up and it can be tough to hook them in the chops. With 50,000 fish showing up it's going to be a real problem this year. Sometimes force feeding is the way.
As for trash, I agree. Take one bag for the fish, one bag for the garbage, and a large sandwich bag for the eggs. Pack it in, pack more out. Snaggers...well intentional snagging I have no use for. Turn them in.
Question remains about the limits. What are they going to be?

Get a life and learn good sportsmanship.
Yep - if ya cant hook 'em in the mouth, go home, cause you got whooped. Sometimes the fish win.

Tanner, why are you always so quick to jump other people's sh*t?? Yours must not smell, I guess. I took Catch and Eat's remark about force feeding differently than you - I interpreted it as meaning that a fisherman just had to work hard to get his non-snagged fish. Did you not make it to the end of his message, where he states that snaggers should be turned in?!
Lighten up, dude.

Smoky,
Your right. Alot of garbage is attracted to the Eagle Creek coho run. In the form of snaggers.
