Ok well I tried to reason with you via E-mail and it was unsuccessful. So I hereby apologize publicly for flaming you on Bobs board.
My goal was to make an example of your **** cartoon post as unsuitable for this forum. In retrospect I was wasting my time. You know the rules and will abide by them or not.
You decide.

Some apology, but thanks anyways. Don't worry, steps are being taken to brighten this place up. Maybe you should jump on the bandwagon instead of being the ******* pulling the cart.
To the Reel Hey Yall, "Steps are being taken to brighten this place up", are you telling us that you are leaving this board? Just a simple question. RW

I figure Hey Ya'll got as much of an apology as he deserved.
This one is for the 1200 (minus one) or so of you that cared enough to register here or advertise here. What I did was stupid. I lowered myself to the level of the people that would tear our forum down. By doing that I made our forum, its owner and its members look bad. For that I am profoundly sorry and ask you for forgiveness.
For taking a stand against the nattering naybobs of negativism I am proud. It is really easy to tear something down when you doubt your own self worth. That is where these folks are coming from.
To all of you who have thanked me or supported me I am grateful. But that is not what this is all about. Its about the 1200 of you who cared enough to register and contribute. Its about all of you who have taught me or anyone else something about fishing.
There are some Silver Salmon who need my attention and that is where I go now.
Peace, Love and Fishing on the big blue lake.
Let all this stuff go and peace be with you and yours.

If Hey Yall is considered such a bad and nasty character, he should have been banned. Instead, he was "called out" by an Ifish Moderator?
Something just doesn't add up here.
I think a real apology should have been forthcoming.

Pilar, glad to see that last post. Now lets please drop the whole subject. I suppose anyone who is above being human and making mistakes can keep the pot stirred but I don't see any reason for it. Can you imagine how fast this will all dissapear if no one responds to the posts regarding the whole mess, even posts directed at an individual... Joe

Pilar,
Your last post simply stirs the pot more. From someone on the sidelines, it truely looks as though you can't (and don't want to) walk away from this whole thing, even though you started it with your thread 'over there'.
None of this stuff is that important. Times like this are good times to go have a 'rita double shot and chill. images/icons/cool.gif
