GAWD BLESS AMERICA, I sure will be glad when the coho season arrives. Seems like we are all burnt out catching springers (know I am), are not interested in Summers and the next best thing we have to do is to sit arround a ***** at each other (me included).. I think we all have way too much time on our hands and something must be done. We need to be catching so many fish our hands look like hamburger (like the do in nov), we are sleep deprived and in serious debt to our wives/girlfriends/kids for neglecting them and barely have time to make a post letting our friends here at I fish know where they can just catch gobs of fish... Those times will come, lets get back to the real reason we all participate in this board, F I S H I N G...Sharing stories, tips, suggestions and lies, alright, ready, set go, who is fishing this weekend and where. Tell me about your plans, share you dreams................Fishbait

I dream of catching fish at OC besides garbage fish. Shad and bass dont cut it.

I will be down at crab harbor in Tillamook Bay camping for several days over the week of the 4th. I will be out catching silvers in the ocean, crab in the bay and ocean, and maybe even some bottom fish if the fish gods allow. Anybody seeing a boat floating tied off to a temporary bouy near crab harbor come say hello. We had more clams and crab last year camping there than we could eat, and gave it away to anybody that stopped and said hello.

Silvers sound good on Sat. If I could only figure out a way to mount a 60 Horse on the back of my Drift Boat and get it up on a plane, I could get outside. images/icons/grin.gif

I've been reporting as I go ... I don't want to repeat it all. Last outing was at an undisclosed location, sorry, some are. See the "whitefish" thread for my environmental error images/icons/shocked.gif

I usually lay low the month of July...but after seeing this morning's steelie count at Bonneville, I think I'll be hitting it ...say...THIS WEEKEND images/icons/grin.gif In fact...I should be out there right now, instead of here!!!! Good post Fishbait!! Also saw some O/S Sturgies get caught in the O.C. area a couple nites ago. Hmmmmmm I could be there in about 10 minutes.........

Gettin ready to spend 5 days floating the John Day for Smallies. Water is really low fishing should be hot but floating is gonna be tough. Lots of rope good river shoes and some steroids ought to get me down the river OK.

Fished for coastal summers last week and got into two small chromers.

Flyfished for trout in central Oregon for three days two weeks ago and caught some real nice browns.

I'm with boater, my fishing season never ends.

I know what ya mean Tanner, I am always thinking when to fish next. This weekend I am taking a couple of gal pal's Sturgeon fishing near Astoria. Should be a riot they are not really fishers. More of the Society types.
