Was this now closed thread really that offensive to the majority? Yeah it was kind of senseless at times but it never seemed to be out of control or anything. Just wondering why someone got the itchy finger. Did it take up too much space or something and caused the board to load slower? Just curious.

From what I understand Northriver owners are pretty offensive before they even open their mouths.

I don't know for sure. It was something that Roy had said.

I'm with you 'stew. It did ramble at times but most of us know more about the different types of jetboats than we did before. Isn't that is what this board is about, sharing information about what we love to do.
I also think it made the boat builders sit up and take note. images/icons/shocked.gif

I guess it fell under the "Moderators will act quickly to edit or delete profanity, racial slurs, personal attacks, illegal statements and inappropriate suggestive comments when they are brought to their attention." portion of the ifish agreement images/icons/rolleyes.gif images/icons/rolleyes.gif images/icons/rolleyes.gif

At least it was only locked and not deleted. images/icons/rolleyes.gif There is some good info in that thread that will still be available. images/icons/smile.gif

Maybe I should take a look at the new posting Doctrine. images/icons/confused.gif

Hey now, I did close the thread but I asked very nicely first. I usually never open the North River thread and took a look the other night. There were many many post with no content. I know it was in fun to build up the hits but no message is simply a waste. I also edited a few other harrasing posts.

I asked if people wanted the thread closed and only recieved two replies in favor.

I'll re-open the thread if people want. The thread is like a board of it's own I noticed. Sorry for the confusion.
