I have seven hanging Lithonia Lighting lights that just came down from a grocery store. They are 250 watts. The would probably work well in a barn or other large building. If anyone has any interest let me know, and I'll post the rest of the details off the labels. They have five years of use. They are $150 each new. Thanks! TOC.

Sorry about the delayed reply. I was waiting to get pics up because they are the most telling for size, and information about the lights themselves. I would say they weigh between 15 and 20 lbs each.

As for price, the only thing I can find that is relative is a guy on ebay who sold just the lamp and ballast (no lamp reflector) for $50 plus $30 for shipping. Lets say I was wanting to get $80 apiece for seven, that would be $560 for the lot. <--- There's a price because I'm required to have one for AUP. PM me with what you'd be willing to pay for them. Voltage? Price per each? Approx guess on how much they weigh?

Thanks

TOC...more than likely these are HID fixtures, which are common in commercial/industrial use. (Look like an upside down kettle drum).

If you haven't already, you might try Craigslist, as there are lot's of businesses that are still using these and haven't converted to linear fluorescent yet.

Thanks for chiming in. They are HID lights, and we did recently convert to linear fluorescent. I put them on craigslist once, but am going to take photos and put them up again if they don't go here!

Thanks! TOC.

Thanks for the pics. I was hoping for some smaller units for my backyard.

Those are quad-tap pendant mount halides. Nice lights. Can't tell if they're low bay or high bay from the pics. Those would be great for a big shop building.

1pump- I can't remember which they are now (low bay or high bay) I thought I found that info at one point. I do know they are optimally hung between about 14' and 20'. I want to move them, but I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking they'd be optimum hung at say 10', because they would create hotspots- hence, good for the green.
