Traggic accident on highway 26

My wife's little cousin was killed this morning along with at least 3 others while on his way to Welches for a baseball game, he was eleven years old. A van going the opposite direction crossed over and hit them head on killing the driver, her daughter and my wife's cousin instantly, her son was life flighted to Emanuel in critical condition. The driver of the van was also killed. I ask for your prayers for all involved, no one should ever have to bury their children. He was a good friend of my eleven year old and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Darren I will pray, these parents will need comfort, this is so sad and you are right we as parents work all our lives and use our hands for so many different things, they should be used to hold and hug our kids, not to carry them to their grave.

I will also add, I just can not for the life of me figure out why so many are killed on this stretch of hiway between Sandy and Mt Hood I have driven it many times going hunting and fishing, and have never came close to almost hitting anyone, but yet it , for some reason is a deadly stretch of road.

Such sad news. It tears at my heartstrings, and causes me to wonder why.....I pray for strength of all involved, and hope the grief is short lived.

my prayers to you and yours. The Sandy Officer who was first on scene is a very good friend of mine. This accident has deeply afected him. He is a non beleiver. I have been slowly witnessing to him. pray God uses this loss for a gain.

That is increadibly heart wrenching news. I cannot even imagine. I know the stretch, drove past the accident scene today. I hear cable will be up as a divider soon, not soon enough, I am sorry. prayers said for little souls.

Wow.........no words can express how sad it is to hear about that tragedy. My prayers go out to all that have been affected by this horrible accident.

Just make's you realize that there are no guarantees in life and to be thankful and appreciate everything and everyone that you have in your life.

I just watched the news a half an hour ago and heard about that. i'm soo sorrty to hear about it. My family and I live in sandy and I drive up to welches at least twice a week so I know that stretch very well. That's soo hard to deal with. I'm praying for the family.

Another of the people involved in this terrible crash has passed away. :(
