I know, we as a nation celebrate this most grateful holiday, with quite a fanfare and jubilation. It is a most wonderful day.....sort of like the day Mose's left Egypt for the Promise Land. I pray, as a nation, we remember our great Creator, who, bestowed on us the opportunity to live as a nation with many races, cultures, and beliefs, with hope. The hope of men putting aside their prejudice, differences, and fears, and living together in harmony.
I've shared this before here, but we've new members, and perhaps some that knew, forgot....
But Independace Day has even a greater significance to me. It's my sober birthday, my real independence realized through the Grace of my Lord from the clutches of Satan.....celebrate, YOU BET!
I hope soon, all man can celebrate independence from the grip of the devil.....
Have a safe and sane holiday my dear brothers and sisters
