Near the falls in Oregon City or near Clackamette Park. Dick Night spoons seem to be the thing that works best.

Dustin and I caught about 12 fish,probably missed/lost about that many too, in about 3 hours at Coon Island. Fishing was NOT hot. We were the hot boat in the bunch.

Hit the lower Columbia wing dams for steelhead in the am. Nothin'...despite a hot report I had received the night before.

Gone Fishing:

I fished off Clackamette park Friday evening and they were hitting chartruse tiny grubs on 1/32 oz gold jigs with green heads, but wouldn't touch a dick nite. It took us a while to get the color figured out and then then we did pretty well.

I fished again this afternoon with my 5 yr old son. When we got there about mid afternoon they would only hit white shad darts. By late evening they started hitting tiny dick nites in brass and red and we did very well.

Needle fish in chartruse/red flame also seemed to work ok both days.

I've finally got the crab bait freezer filled up.

Did pretty good at the Shad Rack. Lot's of
em' around. Red jig head, chartruese green
mini-twister tail and anchovy scent. Great
overcast rig or any time actually. SUP Hogtide?
