Been looking for some posts on the spring fish in the Trask. Saw one post few days ago from Marie, but no follow up reports. What is the word, any fish in that area?

My son wants to go down tomorrow and give it a try, but he wanted to get an idea about where he should head to.

I posted about it in my column yesterday.
I'll tell you here though.
The trask has fish in it throughout the system. Several. Just not biting, at least yesterday.
They are clear up to the dam hole and the dam hole is open for angling, I believe. Check first, but I think so!
Several were seen flopping around. Pretty, pretty flopping springers! WHEEEE!

17 boats today 4 fish caught, 3 boats still out.

I fished Memaloose today.12 boats and no fish. I went up to Lorens drift to check that out and found pretty much the same results.
