Hi folks, does anyone pay any attention to the "size of the dots" when checking the ttides for the River here, when after gators?,think it makes any differance, one way or another? Appreciate any responces, Pilar? images/icons/confused.gif

If you look at the dots they are bigger durring the time the tide is at it's smallest exchange between high and low (less current) of the month. Lots of times the best fishing is durring the highest exchange of the month (more current).

Lots of tide exchange sturs up the sturgeon food and brings salmon and steelhead into a system. I've thought that maybe the big dots durring the smallest exchange is for good fishing for bottom fish or something.

When is the best time to go fishing? When ever you can go. A person just has to learn when the fish will be depending on the conditions, big exchange or small exchange, rain or shine.....
