I was just wondering if anyone has been fishing in OC for shad the past few days and if its still worth a trip this weekend? I have a friend or 2 that dont do much fishing and want to get them in on a lil action this weekend. Thanx for all the info. Oh ya we will be fishing from the bank but all reports would be helpful. images/icons/cool.gif

I fished OC today for about 5 hours and boated plenty. The bank guys seemed to be doing ok.
Best rig seemed to be a chartruese bead above a gold hook.

Thanx for the info. Ill probly try it in the morning. Does it seem to be better at first light? when the sun hits the water? or later in the day/evening? I was just wondering seems to be about the same no matter when I go. Did better from 9 to 10 am one day but just for an hr or so then stayed steady the rest of the day with a few here and there. images/icons/rolleyes.gif
