Just a note here.
There is a Sturgeon Festival scheduled for Saturday June 9 in Vancouver. This is pretty much a show for kids I think. It's free, and will have a bunch of stuff on Columbia River ecosystems. It is from 10-4 at the Water Resources Education Center in Vancouver (4600 SE Columbia Way). I have a news release here that says there will be a sturgeon dissection demonstration showing the anatomy of the fish, a birds of prey exhibit, something on exotic reptiles, and some kids activities. Sorry that's all I know. Sounds like something to do with the kids if you are in Vancouver though. Might be more info on WDFW's website.
