Has anyone been doing good for sturgeon down in the Estuary? If so let me know, I would appreciate it. I heard from a friend who works a charter out of Illwaco, that it was slow last week. Any truth to that?

I fished 4 customers out of astoria on tuesday, we had 6 hookups 43",44", 46", 47" and a 58", the last was an 8 foot oversize! we were done by 10am! all on Anchovies of of desdimona sands on the Wa side!

Fished in a derby over there last weekend. Most of the fish caught came from the Tounge Point area. We did have a little bit of trouble with sculpin below the bridge. Also try on the WA side above the bridge.
Sand shrimp and herring were the trick for us.
