I am trying to make sure I hit every shop on the coast so that everyone can by Vision hooks and allstar rods at there favorite shop. I f there any that any of you know of that I need to see please let me know.
On another note, I stopped by Tillimook sporting goods today, we have hooks and swivels in there. So I approached the guy at the counter, a real nice younger guy, we went over to the display and saw that it needed restocking badly, so I asked him if he wanted me to fill it up, he said yes that would be great since the stuff is selling.
Then out of nowhere comes the floor manager, she asked who I was and I told her, she then said I needed to make an appointment on a monday or tuesday and that she was way to busy to see me. So I said that is fine, then she went on to tell me that the product was not selling very well and that she did not know if if she wanted to carry them anymore.
So I said to her, thats funny your guy behind the counter said differently. Then she got really rude with me and said that she would be the judge of how the products do and that I again needed to make an appointment. I said great I will see you in 2 weeks. Can't wait for chapter 2, I will let you all know what happens.
Anyways A big thankyou goes out to Tillimook Bait co. They are now a Vision Dealer Bravo!!
Peace Joe

Did you stop by the Guide Shop on the Wilson river while you were down there on the coast? They carry a wide selection of tackle and might have room for some of your hooks. Their phone number is 503-842-FISH (3474). I see you stopped by the best bait shop on the coast...Tillamook Bait Co. Marie is worth the visit alone.

Ron, already carries the hooks, he was way ahead of the game. He is also a great guy, I love stopping in and talking with him.
Kimmels and the guide shop I have stopped at at least a million times, Kieth at the guide shop likes the products, but does not have the authority to buy, I can never get a hold of the person who does either.
As far as camas and washougal go, I will send Justin down there since that is his territory and it sounds like 2 new accounts to me.
Thanks Superfly

Joe, many have expressed negative biz at the T. Sptg. Goods. They didn't have what I wanted the 2 times I went in there and tried hard to tell that I needed something else to buy. ...

I agree with Mark about the Tillamook Bait Co. on the lower Wilson River - freshest and best bait around. And Marie and Dennis are so friendly and fun to talk with!

I've never found a sporting goods store that has everything everyone wants. If it is something you are selling or buying then that is the most important thing to be stocked. During spring chinook season no one had K13 Quickfish (even Fishermens) except Tillamook Sporting Goods. If they didnt have it they were more than happy to order it. One thing TSG did was get the other sporting goods store off their dime and get stock. They also had bait herring when everyone else was out. They may be new but they are trying. Try the mgr. again. She's really very nice. Most reps or sales people go to the mgr. first anyway. Floor people do not usuually make the purchase decisions.
