Does anyone ever fish the Bull Run River below the BWW Watershed? Just curious. It sure is a beautiful stretch of river with lots of boulders and deep runs, and it always looks extremely clear. Any steelies passing through?

Thanks, Fish Hunter. I was also wondering about year-round flows. Although I very frequently see pods of salmonids hanging out beneath bridges and below rapids, I find it very plausible that the runs are probably too small and fragile to mess with. Probably better stick with the good old Sandy.

Bull Run gets next to dry in the summer fairly frequently. The reservoir's dams cut off quite a bit of habitat. images/icons/frown.gif I have never caught a steelie in it and have never heard of any caught either. Would doubt it's worth your time.
