Could you all pray for me I am having a hard time controlling my blood sugar as of late. It is mostly my fault been under a lot of stress and just not eating right so could you please pray for me as I am trying to get it back under control thanks rp

Listen up bud. Eat right and quit screwing around with your life. Diabetes is serious stuff and a big boy like yourself really needs to take heed and follow a strict diet to control the affliction. Watched this stuff all to often in my relatives and it is not fun to witness the effects.

Have you ever talked to hogmaster about how he has dealt with his diabetes? I think he could be a really great resource for ya. Just a suggestion.

Thanks to your prayers he fills a lot better. He did not take his med one evening this week and his Blood Sugar went very High. He came home a little early but after taking his med, eating a good breakfest, and then taking his ither med. He went to bed and by time he had taken his second does in the evening he was way better. He also needs your prayers because he still feels bummed about not getting a postion at work that was given to someone else that had not been there on 3 months. We prayed that the Lord would see to his will for this postion at the company. I feel the Lord told Ryan no, not yet. If he got the postion he would have to give up his Saturday off (he likes to go fishing on that day, he likes to go do things on that day with the Family Tce. tce. tce.), he would not get any raise, or extra days off, and no better benefits. I know that he wanted to be at that postion because it is reconised as corprate. I know the Lord has something better for him so just keep him in your prayers.

Listen, just a thought. When things get out of whack and you need cleansing...try a 21 day Daniel fast...which is eating fruits and vegatibles and drinking only water. You can have plain nuts and whole grains as well. This is biblical and will fix you right up. You will be amazed combined with prayer...fasting is a spiritual and physical blessing. While fasting and praying listen to what God has to say (the holy spirit) things shake loose and questions get answered when we show God that we are serious about what we are praying for. Prayer opens the door for God to work in our lives. Good luck and if you choose to do this...the first few days are the toughest...but you will be spiritually and physically better...Amen!

Hello Ryan.

I just got back from a Wednesday til Saturday fishing trip to Odell Lake. I left early this morning in beautiful clear weather because I was too weak to fish. Wednesday I fished until about noon, and spent the rest of the day and night in bed suffering fever and aching pain in the kidneys. My urine is the color of tea because of the blood in it. I would be shivering cold at times and break into sweats at others with hardly enough energy to walk a few feet. Thursday and Friday I forced myself to go out for a few hours in the morning before coming back to camp and laying down again. All the plans to go out every afternoon and take pictures of the beautiful mountain scenery went down the drain. No one wants to see this happen to a young family man like yourself.

All of this is the result of kidney disease caused by many years of self-abuse. When we are young we feel that we're invincible and this kind of stuff only happens to the other guy. Later we often pay the price. Only through the grace of God am I still walking this earth today. I had been relatively free of infection for about a year, but it looks like it's starting up again. Living on a handful of pills every day is something no one wants to do.

The reason for telling you all this is with the hope that you will see the seriousness of not doing what the doctor tells you to. You are a young man with a wonderful family who will suffer right along with you if this illness progresses. Do you know that one of the leading causes of kidney disease and amputations is uncontrolled diabetes? I will pray for you as will many others. It's not likely God will put a sudden end to the diabetes, but He will direct you through the Holy Spirit. It's up to you to follow His divine guidance. Diabetes is completely controllable these days through modern medicine and you have too much at stake to not to be diligent in your efforts.

thanks for the words DH it has been a hard fight ever since I found out I was diabetic and still day to day it is a hard fight I have lost about 60lb from the time I found out and hope to be loosing more. I just need to remember to eat right take my meds and shots and I think the shots are the hardest part. But with prayer and hard work I can do it. God Bless everyone and thanks rp
